Retention and verification of evidence of title
Sec. 11. The bureau shall retain the evidence of title presented by
an applicant on which a certificate of title is issued and shall use
reasonable diligence in ascertaining whether the facts in the
application are true by checking the application and documents
accompanying the application with the records of watercraft in the
bureau.
