The highlight is Linus&#8217; monologue at the end when he explains the meaning of Christmas.  Evidently, some adults didn&#8217;t watch or learn from this Christmas special in their formative years.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"480\" height=\"278\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.hulu.com\/embed\/jAzzitWRcjgYS2iHaNF0GA\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><\/object><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salvationarmyusa.org\/usn\/www_usn_2.nsf\/vw-local\/About-us\">Salvation Army<\/a> purports to &#8220;preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name <strong>without discrimination<\/strong>.&#8221;  If that is the case, why is the Salvation Army checking on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigrationlawyerblog.com\/2009\/12\/is_santa_checking_the_immigrat.html\">immigration status<\/a> of children during their toy drives?  Seriously.  WWJD.  Become a member of the border patrol? Talk about taking the Christ out of Christmas. Even <a href=\"http:\/\/www.noradsanta.org\/en\/index.html\">Santa<\/a> delivers gifts to children around the world and I&#8217;m pretty sure he doesn&#8217;t share his naughty-or-nice list with the elves at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ice.gov\/\">US Immigration and Customs Enforcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this week, I saw A Charlie Brown Christmas on ABC.
