Georgia Code - Criminal Procedure - Title 17, Section 17-4-28Legal Research Home > Atlanta Lawyer > Criminal Procedure > Georgia Code - Criminal Procedure - Title 17, Section 17-4-28 Any arresting officer who advises or encourages the dismissal or settlement of any criminal warrant placed in his hands for execution, either before or after an arrest is made on the warrant, or who procures or encourages the dismissal or settlement of such warrants by threats, duress, intimidation, promises, or any other artifice or means shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
