THE HOME RULE VILLAGE ACT (EXCERPT)
Act 278 of 1909

78.27 Village charter; prohibited conflicts.

Sec. 27.

No provision of any village charter shall conflict with or contravene the provisions of any general law of the state, except as in section 25 of this act otherwise provided.
