THE FOURTH CLASS CITY ACT (EXCERPT)
Act 215 of 1895

87.4 Mayor; vacancy in office, president pro tem.

Sec. 4.

In the absence or disability of the mayor, or in case of any vacancy in his office, the president pro tempore of the council shall perform the duties of mayor during such absence, disability or vacancy.
