Powers of commission . a. Acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property; b. Solicit and accept gifts, legacies, bequests and endowments from private or public sources, and in connection therewith agree to any regulations or restrictions on the use thereof not inconsistent with the terms and purposes of this act; c. Invest any funds received by it, and not immediately necessary for carrying out its duties and functions, in securities which are legal for trust funds in the State of New Jersey; d.
