The Deputy Chief Administrator shall assist the administrator in the day-to-day administration of the commission and shall have all of the powers and duties of the administrator, as authorized and assigned by the administrator. The deputy administrator shall carry out all of the administrator's duties and responsibilities during the administrator's absence, disqualification or inability to serve, and shall perform such other duties and responsibilities as the administrator shall determine and assign. The deputy administrator shall serve at the pleasure of the administrator and shall receive such salary as fixed by the administrator in accordance with the table of organization.
