  § 7.  Further  security. The judge may, upon his own motion or upon the
  application of any party in interest, and  on  such  notice  as  he  may
  direct to be given to the assignor, assignee and surety, require further
  security to be given whenever, in his judgment, the security afforded by
  the bond on file is not adequate.
