§ 5-0103. Organization of the board; officers; terms of office.
1. The commissioner shall be the chairman of the board.
2. Of the six members of the board appointed by the Governor first to
be appointed, one shall be appointed for a term of one year; one for a
term of two years; one for a term of three years; one for a term of four
years; one for a term of five years; and one for a term of six years,
beginning on July 1, 1970, provided, however, that on July 1, 1971, an
additional member shall be appointed to such board by the Governor for a
term of one year. Commencing on July 1, 1971, all other appointments
shall be made for terms of seven years beginning on July 1 of the year
in which the appointment is made. Each of such appointed members of the
board shall hold office for the term for which he was appointed and
until his successor shall have been appointed and taken office in his
stead or until he shall resign or be removed in the manner provided by
law.
