Oregon Statutes - Chapter 732 - Organization and Corporate Procedures of Domestic Insurers; Regulation of Insurers Generally - Section 732.526 - Hearing on proposed activity; notice.

(1) If a written request for a hearing has been duly filed or if, within 10 days after the filing of a completed statement, the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services considers it necessary or advisable to hold a hearing, the director shall direct that a hearing be held.

(2) The hearing shall be held within 30 days after the filing of the written request for hearing or within 30 days after the director’s order directing that a hearing be held, at a time and place designated by the director. One or more of the insurers or other parties to the proposed activity shall give notice as required by the director to parties designated by the director. The acquiring party shall bear the expense of providing the notice and, as security for the payment of the expense, shall file with the director a bond or other deposit in a form and amount acceptable to the director.
