     § 7.  Ineligibility by criminal convictions.
        No person hereafter convicted of embezzlement of public
     moneys, bribery, perjury or other infamous crime, shall be
     eligible to the General Assembly, or capable of holding any
     office of trust or profit in this Commonwealth.
