Adoption. Unless otherwise noted, the provisions of Article
III were adopted December 16, 1873, 1874 P.L.3, effective
January 1, 1874.
Subdivision Headings. The subdivision headings of Article
III were added by amendment of May 16, 1967, P.L.1037, J.R.3.
A. PROCEDURE
§ 1. Passage of laws.
No law shall be passed except by bill, and no bill shall be
so altered or amended, on its passage through either House, as
to change its original purpose.
