§ 155. Disposition of funds.
(a) Establishment of restricted account.--(Repealed).
(b) Expenditures.--The Department of State shall submit a
budget for the operation or modernization of the Corporation
Bureau to the Governor for approval. Such funds as are approved
by the Governor are hereby appropriated from the Corporation
Bureau Restricted Account to the Department of State for the
operation of the bureau.
(c) Advisory committee.--The Secretary of the Commonwealth
shall appoint a Corporation Bureau Advisory Committee. The
committee shall be composed of persons knowledgeable in matters
covered by this title and related provisions of law and who have
been recommended for appointment to the committee by the
organized bar or other organized users of the facilities and
services of the bureau. Members shall serve without compensation
other than reimbursement for reasonable and necessary expenses
in accordance with Commonwealth policy or regulations, shall
serve for terms fixed by the secretary and may be reappointed.
The Chairman of the committee shall be elected by the committee.
The committee shall make recommendations to the Governor with
respect to each budget submitted under subsection (b) and may
consult with the department in the administration of this title
and related provisions of law. The committee, in consultation
with the bureau and the department, shall submit, by June 1 of
each odd-numbered year, a report to the General Assembly
describing its activities under this title and any recommended
changes to this title.
