§ 6142. General powers and duties of qualified foreign
corporations.
A qualified foreign corporation, so long as its certificate
of authority shall not be revoked, shall enjoy the same rights
and privileges as a domestic nonprofit corporation, but no more,
and, except as in this part otherwise provided, shall be subject
to the same liabilities, restrictions, duties and penalties now
in force or hereafter imposed upon domestic nonprofit
corporations, to the same extent as if it had been incorporated
under this part to transact the business set forth in its
certificate of authority.
