§ 906. Regulations.
The General Counsel may promulgate regulations necessary to
assure that:
(1) The payments authorized by this chapter shall be
made in a manner which is fair and reasonable and as uniform
as practicable.
(2) A displaced person who makes proper application for
a payment authorized for that person by this chapter shall be
paid promptly after a move or, in hardship cases, be paid in
advance.
(3) Any person aggrieved by a determination as to
eligibility for a payment authorized by this chapter or the
amount of a payment may elect to have the application
reviewed by the head of the acquiring agency.
(4) Each displaced person shall receive the maximum
payments authorized by this chapter.
(5) Each acquiring agency may obtain the maximum Federal
reimbursement for relocation payment and assistance costs
authorized by any Federal law.
