§ 926. Disposition of fines and penalties.
(a) General rule.--Subject to any inconsistent procedures
and standards relating to reports and transmission of funds
prescribed pursuant to Title 42 (relating to judiciary and
judicial procedure) and related penalties:
(1) Fines recovered in cases where the prosecutor is a
salaried officer of the commission shall be immediately
surrendered by the court receiving the fines to the
prosecutor who, within 30 days of receipt, shall forward the
fines and penalties to the executive director.
(2) Where any officer of this Commonwealth other than a
salaried officer is the prosecutor, the fines and penalties
shall, as soon as the case is fully determined, be forwarded
by the court to the executive director through the district
waterways patrolman, together with a statement of the cause
for which the fines were collected.
(3) All fines received under this section shall be paid
into the State Treasury for the use of the Fish Fund or Boat
Fund, as appropriate.
(b) Penalty.--Any person failing to forward fines in
accordance with this section commits a summary offense of the
first degree.
