6501. Writ not to be suspended.

Enactment. Chapter 65 was added July 9, 1976, P.L.586,
No.142, effective 60 days from the date of final enactment of
the act of April 28, 1978 (P.L.202, No.53).
§ 6501. Writ not to be suspended.
The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be
suspended, unless when in the case of rebellion or invasion the
public safety may require it.
