§ 72.022. CITRUS QUARANTINE ADVISORY COMMITTEE. (a) The
commissioners court of a county in a quarantined area shall appoint
a citrus quarantine advisory committee composed of four citrus
growers and one representative of the department. The four citrus
growers appointed by the court are subject to the approval of the
department. The department shall nominate its representative on
the committee.
(b) If advised by the department that an infestation exists
on premises within the county, the advisory committee shall
determine the extent of the infestation and recommend to the
department the procedure for eliminating the infestation.
