§ 76.005. NOTICE OF HEARING. (a) Before adopting a rule
under this chapter, the department or a regulatory agency shall
publish notice of a public hearing in three newspapers of general
circulation throughout the state. The notice must include the
following information relating to the hearing:
(1) the time;
(2) the place;
(3) the subject matter;
(4) a general statement of the proposed action; and
(5) the class or group of persons to be directly
affected.
(b) Notice must be published under this section before the
10th day preceding the day of the hearing.
