§ 78.057. APPROPRIATED FUNDS. (a) Except as provided by
Subsection (b) of this section, if the legislature appropriates
funds for the control of noxious weeds, the comptroller shall issue
a warrant to each district in an amount equal to the amount
certified for the district by the department under Section 78.056
of this code.
(b) If the legislature appropriates an amount for the
control of noxious weeds that is less than the total of all amounts
certified by the department under Section 78.056 of this code, the
comptroller shall issue a warrant to each district in an amount that
is equal to that district's proportion of the total of funds
certified under Section 78.056 of this code.
