§ 78.061. PETITION FOR DISSOLUTION. (a) The eligible voters residing in a district may petition the board to conduct an election on the dissolution of the district. (b) The petition must contain the signatures of 50 eligible voters or of a majority of the eligible voters in the district, whichever is the lesser number. Acts 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1217, ch. 388, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1981.
