§ 78.064. RETURNS; EFFECT OF ELECTION. (a) After the
election, the board shall:
(1) canvass the returns of the election; and
(2) enter an order declaring the result of the
election.
(b) If a majority of votes are cast against the dissolution
of the district, another election on the proposition may not be held
within 12 months after the date of the election.
(c) If a majority of votes are cast for the dissolution of
the district, the board shall enter an order declaring the district
dissolved.
