Art. 7847. STATUS OF DISTRICT. Any district may by and through its directors sue and be sued in the name of such district, and all courts of this State shall take judicial notice of the establishment of such districts; and said districts shall contract and be contracted with in the name of such districts. They shall have a circular seal containing a five pointed star in the center surrounded by the name of the district. Acts 1918, 35th Leg., 4th C.S., p. 74, ch. 43.
