§ 1.007. SIGNING OF DOCUMENT OR OTHER WRITING. For purposes of this code, a writing has been signed by a person when the writing includes, bears, or incorporates the person's signature. A transmission or reproduction of a writing signed by a person is considered signed by that person for purposes of this code. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, § 1, eff. Jan. 1, 2006.
