§ 11.252. CERTIFICATE OF TERMINATION. (a) If termination
of a filing entity's existence is required, the secretary of state
shall:
(1) issue a certificate of termination; and
(2) deliver a certificate of termination by regular or
certified mail to the filing entity at its registered office or
principal place of business.
(b) The certificate of termination must state:
(1) that the filing entity has been involuntarily
terminated; and
(2) the date and cause of the termination.
(c) Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, the
existence of the filing entity is terminated on the issuance of the
certificate of termination by the secretary of state.
