§ 21.001. APPLICABILITY OF CHAPTER. This chapter applies only to a: (1) domestic for-profit corporation formed under this code; and (2) foreign for-profit corporation that is transacting business in this state, regardless of whether the foreign corporation is registered to transact business in this state. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, § 1, eff. Jan. 1, 2006.
