§ 23.052. ORGANIZERS. Subject to The Securities Act (Article 581-1 et seq., Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), 25 or more persons, the majority of whom must be residents of this state, may form a business development corporation to promote, develop, and advance the prosperity and economic welfare of this state. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, § 1, eff. Jan. 1, 2006.
