§ 5.052. UNAUTHORIZED PURPOSE IN NAME PROHIBITED. A filing entity or a foreign filing entity may not have a name that contains any word or phrase that indicates or implies that the entity is engaged in a business that the entity is not authorized by law to pursue. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, § 1, eff. Jan. 1, 2006.
