§ 5.057. NAME OF COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION. (a) The name of a cooperative association must contain: (1) the word "cooperative"; or (2) an abbreviation of that word. (b) A domestic or foreign entity may use the word "cooperative" in its name to the extent permitted by Section 251.452. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, § 1, eff. Jan. 1, 2006.
