§ 35.49. OTHER REMEDIES. (a) A person who sells, distributes, or manufactures cigarettes and who sustains direct economic or commercial injury as a result of a violation of Section 154.0415, Tax Code, or Section 48.015, Penal Code, may bring an action in good faith for appropriate injunctive relief. (b) The remedy provided by this section is in addition to any other remedy provided by law. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1104, § 5, eff. Sept. 1, 2001.
