§ 36.03. EXCLUSION OF INSURANCE COMPANIES.  The 
provisions of this chapter shall not apply to any insurance company 
as described in Subchapter A, Chapter 805, Insurance Code, which is 
authorized to do business in this state except as such code shall 
specifically provide.
