Art. 13.29. FRAUDULENT USE OR POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION. An offense under Section 32.51, Penal Code, may be prosecuted in any county in which the offense was committed or in the county of residence for the person whose identifying information was fraudulently obtained, possessed, transferred, or used. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 415, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 2003. Renumbered from Vernon's Ann.C.C.P. art. 13.28 by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., ch. 728, Sec. 23.001(7), eff. Sept. 1, 2005.
