Art. 15.21. [238] [285] [273] PRISONER DISCHARGED IF NOT TIMELY DEMANDED. If the proper office of the county where the offense is alleged to have been committed does not demand the prisoner and take charge of him within ten days from the day he is committed, such prisoner shall be discharged from custody. Acts 1965, 59th Leg., vol. 2, p. 317, ch. 722, eff. Jan. 1, 1966.
