Art. 17.45. CONDITIONS REQUIRING AIDS AND HIV INSTRUCTION. A magistrate may require as a condition of bond that a defendant charged with an offense under Section 43.02, Penal Code, receive counseling or education, or both, relating to acquired immune deficiency syndrome or human immunodeficiency virus. Added by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 1195, Sec. 8, eff. Sept. 1, 1989. Renumbered from Vernon's Ann.C.C.P. art. 17.42 by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 16, Sec. 19.01(4), eff. Aug. 26, 1991.
