Art. 17.48. POSTTRIAL ACTIONS. A convicting court on
entering a finding favorable to a convicted person under Article
64.04, after a hearing at which the attorney representing the state
and the counsel for the defendant are entitled to appear, may
release the convicted person on bail under this chapter pending the
conclusion of court proceedings or proceedings under Section 11,
Article IV, Texas Constitution, and Article 48.01.
