Art. 19.11. [342] [393] [381] OATH TO CLERK. Before the list
of grand jurors is delivered to the clerk, the judge shall
administer to the clerk and each of his deputies in open court the
following oath: "You do swear that you will not open the jury lists
now delivered you, nor permit them to be opened until the time
prescribed by law; that you will not, directly or indirectly,
converse with any one selected as a juror concerning any case or
proceeding which may come before such juror for trial in this court
at its next term".
