Art. 19.16. [347] [398] [386] ABSENT JUROR FINED. A juror legally summoned, failing to attend without a reasonable excuse, may, by order of the court entered on the record, be fined not less than ten dollars nor more than one hundred dollars. Acts 1965, 59th Leg., vol. 2, p. 317, ch. 722, eff. Jan. 1, 1966.
