Art. 29.01. [538] [603] [592] BY OPERATION OF LAW. Criminal
actions are continued by operation of law if:
(1) The individual defendant has not been arrested;
(2) A defendant corporation or association has not been
served with summons; or
(3) There is not sufficient time for trial at that term of
court.
