Art. 44.19. [839] [927] [893] WITNESSES NOT AGAIN SUMMONED. In the cases mentioned in the preceding Article, the witnesses who have been summoned or attached to appear in the case before the court below, shall appear before the court to which the appeal is taken without further process. In case of their failure to do so, the same proceedings may be had as if they had been originally summoned or attached to appear before such court. Acts 1965, 59th Leg., vol. 2, p. 317, ch. 722.
