Art. 46B.085. SUBSEQUENT COMMITMENTS AND EXTENSIONS PROHIBITED. (a) The court may order only one commitment and one extension under this subchapter in connection with the same offense. (b) After a commitment and an extension are ordered as described by Subsection (a), any subsequent court orders for treatment must be issued under Subchapter E or F. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 35, Sec. 1, eff. Jan. 1, 2004. Amended by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., ch. 324, Sec. 16, eff. Sept. 1, 2005.
