Art. 46C.001. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter:
(1) "Commissioner" means the commissioner of state health
services.
(2) "Department" means the Department of State Health
Services.
(3) "Mental illness" has the meaning assigned by Section
571.003, Health and Safety Code.
(4) "Mental retardation" has the meaning assigned by
Section 591.003, Health and Safety Code.
(5) "Residential care facility" has the meaning assigned by
Section 591.003, Health and Safety Code.
