Art. 8.09. [103] [147] [137] POWER OF SPECIAL CONSTABLE. Special constables so appointed shall, during the time for which they are appointed, exercise the powers and perform the duties properly belonging to peace officers. Acts 1965, 59th Leg., vol. 2, p. 317, ch. 722, eff. Jan. 1, 1966.
