§ 29.052. DEFINITIONS. In this subchapter: (1) "Student of limited English proficiency" means a student whose primary language is other than English and whose English language skills are such that the student has difficulty performing ordinary classwork in English. (2) "Parent" includes a legal guardian of a student. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 260, § 1, eff. May 30, 1995.
