§ 44.0011. FISCAL YEAR. The fiscal year of a school district begins on July 1 or September 1 of each year, as determined by the board of trustees of the district. The commissioner may adopt rules concerning the submission of information by a district under Chapter 39 or 42 based on the fiscal year of the district. Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 643, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 2001.
