§ 54.0516. SPECIAL SUMMER TUITION RATES AT TEXAS A&M
UNIVERSITY: PILOT PROGRAM.
Text of section effective until January 1, 2008
(a) This section applies only to a resident undergraduate
student enrolled for a summer term or session at Texas A&M
University.
(b) Tuition, other than tuition under Section 54.0513,
charged to a student to whom this section applies is three-fourths
of the amount otherwise provided by this subchapter.
(c) The amount that the board of regents may charge as
tuition under Section 54.0513 to a student to whom this section
applies may not exceed the amount of other tuition the board is
authorized to charge to the student under Subsection (b).
(d) This section applies only if the legislature
specifically appropriates money to Texas A&M University for the
state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2007, to cover the tuition
revenue lost to the institution by the application of this section.
(e) This section applies only to a summer term or session in
2006 or 2007. This section expires January 1, 2008.
