§ 56.035. TYPE OF GRANTS TO BE AWARDED. Texas Public Educational Grants shall not be awarded for any specific purpose other than meeting all or part of a student's demonstrated financial need. Added by Acts 1975, 64th Leg., p. 2323, ch. 720, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1975. Amended by Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 708, § 14, eff. Aug. 26, 1986.
