§ 56.147. FUNDING. (a) The department may accept gifts
and grants from any public or private source for the conditional
grant program under this subchapter and may also use for that
purpose available money credited to the state highway fund.
(b) The department shall issue not less than $400,000
annually in conditional grants under this subchapter from money
available to fund the conditional grant program.
(c) The department may provide outreach programs to recruit
students into the conditional grant program.
