§ 13.037. COMPENSATION; BOND. (a) A person may not receive compensation from the county for service as a volunteer deputy registrar unless compensation is authorized by the commissioners court. (b) An unpaid volunteer deputy is not required to give a bond in connection with the deputy's service. Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 211, § 1, eff. Jan. 1, 1986.
