§ 181.032. AUTHORITY WITH WHOM APPLICATION FILED. (a) An application for nomination by a convention must be filed with: (1) the state chair, for a statewide or district office; or (2) the county chair, for a county or precinct office. (b) Not later than the 10th day after the date of the filing deadline prescribed by Section 181.033, the authority with whom an application is filed shall deliver to the secretary of state a list containing each candidate's name and residence address and the office sought by the candidate.
