§ 162.101. DEFINITIONS. In this subchapter:
(1) "Appropriate public authorities," with reference
to this state, means the executive director.
(2) "Appropriate authority in the receiving state,"
with reference to this state, means the executive director.
(3) "Compact" means the Interstate Compact on the
Placement of Children.
(4) "Executive head," with reference to this state,
means the governor.
